Until September 2017 I have been a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Applied Mathematics at the School of Computer Science and Mathematics, Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
Until September 2015 I have been a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer Science, University of Helsinki, Finland.
I obtained my PhD in 2013 from University of Thessaly, Greece. Before this, I studied Mathematics and got my MSc in Mathematics of Computation and Decision Making at the University of Patras, Greece.
From 2017 to 2023 I worked closely with Signal Ocean, as a Data Science consultant.
Attended LOD 2023 in Grasmere, Lake District, UK, where I presented our paper entitled “Ensemble Clustering for Boundary Detection in High-Dimensional Data”
Attended WCCI 2022 in Padova, Italy, where I presented our paper entitled “Deep Hybrid Learning for anomaly Detection in biomedical Monitoring”
Starting March 2022, I will lead as a PI the project “Development of a bronchoscopic biopsies-on-chip (BioOnChip) platform for immunotherapy drug screening in non-small cell lung cancer.” funded by the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (EPAnEK), NSRF .
